Our Mum

Last week was the 2nd anniversary of Mums pasting it was very hard to get through the week knowing that all the family would be thinking of her. This photo in the layout was taken at Christmas 1967, 40 years ago I just love it even though its not a good photo it shows Mum was so grateful for everything that Pip did or gave her Mum is holding some silk that Pip has bought back from one of his trips. We have been slowly going through some of Mums things that Pips brothers sent us after the garage sale unfortunately some of the things are really rubbish and I do not think we will keep them but there is quite a few things that we will keep and proudly display like the little Dutch man and woman ornaments these are so typical of our family and we are very proud of what they stand for .
