Today's Happenings

Today as usual I went to the club as I had only made three bags and was not in the mood to do any more [far to much on my mind] I opped to be the odd body doing the ironing sewing on labels and getting lunch. We had such an oray of food and plenty to go around even though some ladies forgot to bring a plate. Having a new oven I wanted to try it out before Christmas with a recipe of my favourite Fruit cake so I made one for the day and one for us. It was so delisious and moist. I am thrilled with the new oven For a while with the old one I thought that my cooking was really terrible . after lunch and after finishing off twenty seven quilts that we had been making for three months we all went home.

This afternoon I went to see the specialist re my knee He is such a wonderful man and so very shy but very caring, as I had the x ray the other day they were all there ready for him to look at. then the verdict came I held my breath and waited .... It was a delight to here that all is OK I can go on holidays knowing that the knee will and is OK . ho ray I was a little worried but then that's me . Am really looking forward to going to Queensland for a holiday and then down to Sydney to see my Brother I miss him so much the bond between us is so strong. Am really looking forward to having Phillip for eight whole days and to myself not that I am selfish just I like to have him for a while with out the fact that he suddenly has to go out for someone or something.
