Town of Beverley WA

Wednesday Phil had to go to Beverley to see three clients so I went with him. Beverley is about 1 1/2 hours east near the town of of York. It is primary a farming area for sheep, goats and wheat, with a alpaca farm near by too. As it was so far out and Phil had to work all day it was really too late to return home on Wednesday night so we stayed the night with friends and returned home this morning. It was very cold there and I was freezing. The town of Beverley is very small and has a few shops ie chemist, food and petrol station , most people drive to towns in the Perth area ie Kelscott or Mundarring to shop for their groceries as its much cheaper to shop in the suburbs of Perth . There is some very historical buildings down the main street one of these buildings is used for the RSL where there are 17 members they are in the process of renovating the club and it is looking great . There is a WW1 monument and last year the town built a WW2 + memorial near by every one in the town bought a brick to build the monument so it would stop vandals and to this date no Vandals had marked the memorial
