This Weekend

This weekend is Mothers Day and we usually have a retreat on this weekend but owing to numbers we had to cancel the retreat this year. Instead we are holding a sewing day on the Saturday in our club rooms. Phillip is organizing the day and it will be filled with quiz's, lucky door prizes and a little something just for the mothers. At first when I suggested to Pip that we have this day so that the older mums can still have a good time only 10 ladies put up their hands so I said I would cook. now a few days later more ladies have decided to come along so now I have to cook for 30 ladies yeeek! I was stunned so I have decided to serve a cold meat platter, chicken and meatballs with salad and sandwiches with ice cream in biscuits for desert and for morning tea there will be tea , coffee, cakes,biscuits and savory biscuits for the diabetics. I have cooked two fruitcakes and our cousin is bringing muffins so there should be plenty to go around
