Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th February will go down in Australian history as the darkest national disaster we have ever had in this country. It will be etched in our memories forever.
The death toll is expected to be well over 200 to 300. Emergency services have began to sift though and investigate burnt cars, houses and properties. Emergency services are coming from all over Australia to help and relieve already tired fire fighters as well as some from the USA, New Zealand and England with expert technology about bush fires .
Many towns have been wiped out or badly effected and the rebuilding will take months even years to get it to some sort of looking like a town or how it looked before the fires .There were lots of life stock lost and injured, people's livelihood have been robbed by mother nature and people liting these fires. Our Ancestors and Heritage has been wiped out in many cases too.
