Well where do I start. There were certainly highs and lows to this trip I went to visit with my Mum and to see my Dad who has Demetra. There was much more. laughs and tears were all though the visit. I was so touched when I said to my Dad ---hi Dad it's me the twinkle in your eye although Dad did not say much he gave us that is Pip and myself the feeling that he new we belonged there. Dad allowed me to hug him and to just sit and talk , hand him chocolate that he ate , that in it's self was a wonderful feeling for me.
My Mum has had cancer to one of her kidneys that she has had removed and the other kidney is not good at all. Mum is on so many tablets that she rattles. We arrived and found her so loving and caring . We arrived and our accommodation was all messed up so we ended up sleeping on mums chairs . a little uncomfortable but we did it . Mum was also looking for my approval as far as her living quarters go, a airy 4 room apartment in a retirement village. Also asking for approval but with out saying that she had to put Dad in a home at the RSL village in Narrabeen, He is at the General Peter Cosgrove house a beautiful large new facility.
