Today is Merdeka Day and its going to be full of excitement for us as we are VI P's at the laying of wreaths in Kings Park at 12.00pm followed by a sausage sizzle then tonight we will get all dressed up for the Ball in Perth I am really looking forward to tonight as there will be entertainment such as nation dancing and music ,song.
There will be all sorts of people from all different ways of life. all gathered under the one roof to celebrate this special day. Phill has a new Red bow tie and black waist coat to wear and I must say he looks quite handsome in the outfit. I bought myself a blue blouse and a black coat with sparkles all over it and I feel quite special I will team this off with a black skirt and pewter color shoes and bag. I also have a black wrap as it can get quite chilly coming out of the Convention centre next to the Swan River at night .
