Christmas 2007 is coming

I love Christmas and this time of year brings a special meaning to my life -I love planning the day and the rushing around getting things all ready for the special day. I try to buy presents all through the year as I see them on special or see something that one may love to have. I love mid year stock take sales for this . At this time of year I love to reflect on the year that has passed and remember all that we have done and never dwell on things that went wrong I found by doing this it makes a better me . I sit and plan all what has to been done in October after all the birthdays are over then do it one by one as the time comes I have always found this is the simplest way to handle this time of year . However I do not like the crowded shops and shopping centres that just can not cope with the crowds . Yesterday was 1st December so the Christmas tree went up. Today I wrapped the presents and put them into two sacks that we bought to keep little hands from touching them before they should. The Christmas cake is cooked and smells great and I will cook the sweets treats this coming Friday . This year the Family is coming over for lunch and then for the evening meal we are having a few friends over . I have bought enough meat and chicken to feed an army so there will be enough for them all. Each time I go shopping I buy some thing for the occasion and put it aside that way it's not to heavy on the purse and we all get to have what we want . I am usually pretty organised so I feel proud that all is on track .
