Graduation and Dinner Dance

Paige and Caitlin are growing up so fast, they look so pretty and I know that they will achieve so much in their life ahead. On Wednesday morning the school held the Graduation and award Presentation ceremony and it was so good to be there to hear the choir and see all the children in their very best. Cait received two awards and Paige received one we felt so proud as they walked up to receive their awards Then on Wednesday night Caitlin ,Amy had their graduation dinner and dance celebrating the end of Primary school. They looked so grown up as they left their houses and met with other girls and boys from their School after the pre dinner drinks and dinner was over the year 6 joined them for a dance to celebrate the end of the year. At the assembly yesterday it was announced the new school to replace Lynwood, Ferndale and Kinlock will be called Bannister Creek Primary school and will be called that from the start of 2008 at the old Ferndale school where the school will be held till the new school is built.There are demountable being erected to house the extra students during the construction although it's a sad time ,it's also a great time as progress will benefit the younger students of the district. The new uniform has been chosen and is going to be turquoise and black completely different then the three schools concerned. so a new uniform is in the air for Paige's last year of Primary. Our grand daughters are very lucky in one respect as Cait was the last class to graduate from Lynwood and Paige will be the first from the new school so both times will be very memorable in time to come
