Just popped in

Just popped in to give you all a quick update on what we have been doing . The heat is still relentless here, we've had high temperatures yet again and still will for a few more days . It rained last Wednesday that was a surprise as it doesn't usually rain this time of year. The gutters we having the rain fall like a water fall at the back so yesterday we looked at what was making this happen. To our surprise the gutters were full of sand, yuk we had a bucket and a half after we cleared them all. The old owners didn't seem to care about maintenance to the house.

Tomorrow we are off to Perth to buy some wood to make a foot stall / seat. and to buy some mosaic tiles to make a number for our house, would you believe that there is not one number "8" to be found in Mandurah some one has bought them all. , I need one for our house number.

Today on the way home from quilting we bought some material to make Oscar a new quilt he has just moved into a new bedroom and loves Dinosaurs so Pip is going to make him a quilt for his bed with Dinosaurs on it, A Friend gave me some very colourful ones. Oscar wanted the background to be green and blue so we went hunting and found some that was just right and also found that the material was on special at $3.00 per metre so we were in the right place at the right time me thinks .
