Destructive winds of more than 100 kilometres an hour has lashed Perth suburbs and surrounding areas, such as here down in Mandurah. The storm has forced the suspension of sea services from the Port of Fremantle.The port was closed late last night due to poor weather conditions.Ferry company Rottnest Express ran its last trip from Rottnest to Fremantle at 4:30pm yesterday. The seas are so high.
What is uncommon about this weather is that it's been four days in a row. Normally we would get a storm and it would be over and through the area within 24 hours It is howling so much that it is keeping me awake at night thus I am a little grumpy at the moment as not had much sleep.
